This training course can be used for both initial and recertification. Regulatory requirements and guidance for medical examiners who perform physical qualification examinations of interstate commercial motor vehicle drivers
Clinical review of information the medical examiner will utilize to determine the medical qualification of an individual to operate as an interstate driver as defined by the FMCSA
Use of resources such as other medical providers, treating clinicians, and specialists to aid in determining whether a driver meets the FMCSA’s physical qualification standards
Instructions on how to complete the examination and required forms for certification of a CDL driver
